Meet Locations - Winter
- Clack = Clackamas Town Center at 12100 SE 82nd Ave., Portland, OR 97266-Transit Center
I-205, Exit 14 (Sunnyside), downhill to Right on SE 82nd Ave.; just past Town Center parking lot, turn Right on SE Monterey Ave, Right on Driveway #3 to enter Town Center adjacent to bus pickups. Meet in parking lot near corner of Monterey-Bus Transit Center and Macy’s Home-Furniture (not main Macy’s store).
- Gate=Gateway Max Station, 9816 NE Pacific St. Portland, OR and 99th Ave.(between Halsey and Glisan)
From I-84 East take I-205 south directions. From I-205 South, exit # 21A, Glisan St., turn left on Glisan, left on 99th. From I-84 West exit # 7, Halsey, Gateway, right on 99th. From I-205 North, exit # 21A, Glisan, right on Glisan, left on 99th. Meet at bus stand #33 where NE Pacific St. deadends at MAX tracks and adjacent parking lot. - Gres=Gresham Max end of line, Cleveland Ave. Station
At junction of NE Hogan Ave.(also 242nd) and NE Burnside Rd., go west (right) on Burnside, then left (~200 ft.) on 8th St. (at Elmers Pancake House); left into MAX parking, meet van at corner closest to track with building and phone. To find on map: MAX station is on 8th St. between Burnside and Cleveland.
From I-84 going east toward Troutdale, take exit #16. Turn right on 238th Dr. which turns into 242nd Ave which turns into NE Hogan Ave (242nd), then turn right on Burnside and follow above directions. - MtnTrk (NT: participants that registered to drive themselves)= Mountain Tracks shop in Government Camp next to Huckleberry Inn (88611 E. Government Camp Loop)
Turn left at first Government Camp exit (just past-east of Ski Bowl) off Hwy 26. Continue past motels and stores to Huckleberry Inn/Mountain tracks on left side. Find a parking place and check in with Mountain Tracks staff, saying you are meeting NW Discoveries group.
Remember to have a sno-park pass and tire chains that you have put on before. - Salem= ShopKo parking lot
Exit # 253 (Hwy 22) off I-5, then exit #2 Lancaster Dr. Left on Lancaster, then right at Chevron gas station. - Sand=Sandy Community Center, OR
Hwy 26 east to Sandy, OR. Past Tollgate restaurant (red building), go straight through stop light on one way Pioneer Blvd., after passing 4th building on right (City of Sandy Community Center/Senior Center, 38348 Pioneer Blvd.), turn right down the driveway into parking lot-meet van. - Suns=Sunset TC garage, 10470 SW Barnes Rd. Beaverton, OR 97225
3-story garage SW Barnes Rd. & Hwy 217, meet NW Discoveries van at garage entrance.
From Hwy 26 west, take exit 69B (Cedar Hills/Barnes Rd). Right turn from offramp, stay in left lane, turn left on SW Barnes Rd., then stay in right lane for SW Barnes Rd. (west). Turn left (left lane) into "Sunset Transit Center" at traffic light.
From Hwy 217, take Barnes Rd. exit. At traffic light stay straight to go onto SW Barnes Rd. (west), left into Transit Center.
From Hwy 26 east, take Cedar Hills Blvd. exit. Left Cedar Hills Blvd., then right onto SW Barnes Rd. (east), right into Transit Center. - Tiga=Tigard, 74th-99W, Park&Ride (adjacent to Tigard Cinemas)
From I-5 take exit #294-Tigard/Hwy 99W, turn down the hill, (stay in right lane to turn left) turn left into Tigard Cinema (74th Ave.) and left into Park Ride which is before theater parking lot and across from Westside Dance Academy. Or from 217 take Tigard exit and go east up the hill to 74th Ave (Theater) and turn right , then left into Park and Ride which is across the street from Westside Dance Academy. - Tual=Tualatin/Durham, OR, I-5 Park&Ride
On I-5 take exit # 290, Durham, Lake Oswego exit. If coming from Portland, drive south on I-5, the Park and Ride is just across street at end of off ramp. If coming from the south then need to go under I-5, then Park and Ride is on left. Meet van at lowest Park and Ride parking lot -SW corner of I-5 and Lower Boones Ferry Rd. where buses enter Park & Ride. - Vancouver 134th St., P-R=I-5 and I-205 Park and Ride in Vancouver, WA
I-5 north of Vancouver, exit #7, Left on 134th St. Right on 10th, Right on 136th, Left into Park & Ride. OR I-205 north from Vancouver, exit #36, Left on 134th St. Right on 10th, Right on 136th, Left into Park and Ride.
