NW Discoveries will contact all mail/fax registrants to confirm their registration.
A Liability Release Form must be signed upon arrival at the meet location.

Registration will require your name, trip selection date & time and number of participants in your group.

CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICIES
Responsibility – NWD's safety record is excellent. But hiking, biking and winter activities, involves an element of risk. These risks are described in our Participant Agreement, which you will be required to sign. Your signature on this form will be taken as an expression of your willingness to assume personal responsibility for risks that may be encountered on the trip.
If we cancel a trip – NWD rarely cancels a trip, but we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather conditions or other factors beyond our control. If we cancel, we’ll refund your fees in full, but we cannot reimburse you for other travel expenses you may have incurred.
TRIPS RUN AS SCHEDULED EVEN WHEN IT RAINS OR SNOWS.
HALF & FULL DAY TRIPS:
Deposits and payments: Half day and full day trips require payment in full when reservation is placed. (Exception: If more than seven days remain before the trip begins, groups of ten or more may call to reserve with a $25 per person deposit.)
Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds: Please notify us as soon as possible if you find it necessary to cancel your reservation. Because we lose the ability to sell reserved spaces to other individuals or groups, we strictly adhere to the following policies:
7 Days or More:
- OPTION 1: A refund of your deposit less a $25 per person cancellation fee.
- OPTION 2: Credit towards an available NWD trip in the current season less a $25 per reservation transfer fee. In either case you will receive a full refund for any amount paid above the trip deposit.
6 Days or Less:
- No credits or refunds will be issued if you cancel 3 or fewer days prior to a day trip
Please note that cancellation fees may apply to cancellation of the entire reservation as well as to partial cancellations (for instance, reduction in your party size from six to five).
- Trips are not canceled unless it is considered unsafe to drive. On the rare chance of a trip being canceled a message will be left at 503-563-1500 after 6:30 a.m. on the day of the trip. We plan on having an enjoyable time in the outdoors whether it is snowing, raining or sunny.
